I booked the table for five people – three adults and two kids in total, for the next day at 4pm. We checked the menu online, so we got in mind what we could order.
We arrived at 4pm and waited a few minutes to get a table. The waiter gave the kids crayons and colouring sheets, which was very helpful for the kids while we ordered starters and waited to be served, then we ordered drinks, a starter and main all at once.
We ordered meat feast sharing for 3-4 people and southern fried chicken for starters. The meat feast included: tender chicken bites, BBQ ribs, cheese and bacon topped garlic ciabatta, loaded potato skins and sour cream and dips. The starter was great! Everything tasted good.
For mains we ordered for the boys a chilli hot dog and mini hot dogs. For the adults we ordered a BBQ half chicken and ribs (half roast chicken, half rack of ribs, BBQ sauce, fries, slaw and corn on the cob), served with garlic mayo and with your choice of fries or Mediterranean salad in a vinaigrette dressing and salmon fillet.
The mains were really good and the portions were big, so we were full.
When we ordered desserts the waiter was a bit nervous because the system was loading slow, but he apologised to us and said it wasn’t his fault.
The boys didn’t want desserts. For the adults we ordered Tiramisu, Toblerone cheesecake and strawberry cheesecake, as well as two lattes and a cappuccino.
The Toblerone cheesecake was tasty but the Toblerone on the top was very hard, and you couldn’t get it off with a spoon.
While we waited for food, we noticed there weren’t any coat hangers at all. It was fine with us, because it was warm weather. But what people doing in winter? Where are they putting coats?
Our waiter was running all the time from one table to another. It seems he was the only one working, although another was working but slowly.
Once we were leaving, we had a chat with the waiter. He was a guy from Poland. The food was great and we enjoyed dinner.
