The GHDs were in excellent condition, well packed and presented in its own box.
I have used straighteners for many years now and this was the first time I had ever used GHDs, I would have no hesitation in recommending these straighteners.
Compared to a lot of other straighteners in the market GHDs are one of the most expensive. I have seen the IV styler priced at £75.00 on some sites, which is much more comparable to most other straighteners with solid ceramic plates and similar features. I definitely think it should be not far from the RRP as the end result leaves the hair feeling soft and smooth which is what a lot of consumers strive for.
Add a temperature controller to allow different levels of heat for different hair types. Other makes which are cheaper have this feature. Thumb grips or a soft rubberised feel overall, which would make them easier to hold. Better manual for full operational understanding and features.
Overall they are very good GHD’s 9/10

Pros: Light weight, easy to hold and control, leaves hair soft and smooth, small ceramic plates which allow you to go close to the root. Rounded ends to allow easy manoeuvrability when curling. 1 inch ceramic plates heated up quickly 30 seconds
Cons: On off switch is on the inside where other models have them on the outside which can be triggered off by accident when using them.
Its simple structure makes it a good choice for those who want to get straight on with the job without any fuss.
Safety features, such as an automatic shut-off feature or sleep mode, which will turn the device off for you automatically even if you forget to do so.
The body of the straightener stays cool while using the iron.
