I’ve been using the Lancome Genefique advanced serum set for almost three weeks now.
I like that the serum is in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser so it’s hygienic and you can control how much you use. It looks and feels like a quality product and I like that you press it down to control how many drops you use.
I also like that the serum isn’t overly scented as I’ve noticed when I’ve used their moisturisers in the past they’ve been heavily fragranced and I’m not a big fan of this as it tends to dry my skin a little.
I used around three or four drops of the serum in the morning and evening and this seemed to be enough for my skin.
I liked the fact that the serum absorbed easily and felt nice under my moisturiser and make up.
I’ve seen a bit of a glow to my skin since using the serum and moisturisers that came with the set but I’m not sure it’s a noticeable improvement but this might be because I’ve only been using it for a few weeks. I’ll be interested to see if there’s more of an improvement after a couple of months.
I do think the Renergie anti-wrinkle day and night cream felt a little heavy on my skin and had too much fragrance in them for me so I probably wouldn’t use these again for that reason.
However I’ve been enjoying using the genefique advanced eye cream as like the serum it absorbs easily and sits nicely under my skincare and make up. Also, it’s only very lightly scented which I prefer.
Overall I think it’s a good set and if you don’t mind scented moisturisers then you’ll probably enjoy it. The day and night creams are good sizes for travelling which is a bonus and good for trying out before buying the full size.
