I love the original Angel I took my chances in putting in for the Elixir bottle! It came in the post direct from the boots store, with this service the tracking information came directly to my mobile number.
When the perfume arrived, I sprayed it and noticed a very strong, rich scent of sandlewood that over a small amount of time wore down into vanilla and ylang-ylang.The Ylang Ylang is not overpowering, and all 3 scents evened each other out nicely, the scents still held equal, but balanced throughout the day. Around an hour after I sprayed the Angel Elixir, I met up with my sister-in-law, she commented right away on the scent, so much so that when we arrived back at my home, she asked me to have some herself! We both loved it! I sprayed it around 11 am and by 10:30 pm the scent was still holding very well.
This is a very floral and feminine fragrance, it will last all day and a little goes along way, so the perfume itself should last anyone a good amount of time. I am very happy with my perfume and will definitely be buying more. It has a beautiful bottle and it is very well made, a Brucey bonus is that it is a refillable bottle and I have confidence the bottle will last a very long time. This is a great classy fragrance for all age types.
It does not smell like Angel the original, but you can tell it is from the same brand. It does have the Mulgler hold of fragrances.
Very, very nice perfume indeed.
