The iPhone 15 pro, the camera alone, is worth it for the phone. Having just received a brand new iPhone 15 Pro 512Gb, I can't believe how totally different it is to my iPhone 14.
I can't stop handling it, it's lighter and the Black Titanium is so fab looking, that all my friends are envious of it, it's not just the durability of it, but the luxurious light feel.
The new 'action button', where you can choose whatever function you to set to it. I use it for 'silent', but mostly use it as a camera 'take shot' switch, with the phone on its long side (just like using a normal camera!)
I was a bit annoyed at first with the new 'USB-C' charging port/charging cable, as I have lots of lightning cables everywhere in the house and car, but now I love it! It's so quick at charging up my phone, whether it’s using the supplied cable in my laptop, or using my new USB-A to USB-C cable for everywhere else, you can also put into the charging port, an external drive, so you can have more memory for better quality photos and those special videos, the external drive is also good for sharing.
The new 'dynamic island' is also a big plus, it displays all your important notifications, whether it's your apple pay transactions or incoming calls. It's also a front-and-centre info hub!
The always on display is another like for me, it lets you see all your important information with having to constantly touch the screen.
But the camera/video is my favourite part (of many!) It's like having an expensive camera with seven pro lenses. I've been trying out all the different modes, a fun way to spend your free time.
'23 hours of screentime' - yes 23! (video playback /general usage) is so good that I don't have to think (much!) about charging my phone up, when I'm using it a lot, which is great, especially when on the go or where there's no charging points.
I wonder what I ever did without this phone, I will probably keep it for a long time, more than my previous phone, manly cause it's so different, oh! and the camera.
I like how apple give you a 30-minute online training course, or either setting up your new phone, or for more tech people, they'll go through the latest features and the Apple Apps.
