My hiking boots (only used for ambling and to grip in the snow) finally fell apart. I wanted to replace them with something a bit more versatile.
These ATL Trek Walk shoes are an excellent replacement. The sole has plenty of grip but is still flexible. They’re really comfortable (although using the removable inner might mean going up a half size) with the “cut out” collar meaning that there’s no chafing on the ankle at all, even without socks - and their being waterproof is a great bonus.
A really good shoe at an excellent price.
