On the 15th January we had a lovey surprise, we had an amazing Harrods Hamper delivered to review. The hamper itself was fabulous and as we unpacked the hamper we couldn’t believe the contents, amazing.
Where do we start, a cup of tea, Earl grey was so refreshing, and they will be on my list to reorder. All the teas were amazing even the green tea that isn’t my favourite usually. The biscuits were scrummy and didn’t take long to eat. Our favourites were the Chocolate chip cookies and the Scottish shortbread fingers, very crumbly and compliment the teas.
The chocolate dusted almonds, raisins and white chocolate strawberries were on the top list of hits, great for a gift. Loved the packaging and the delicious treats. The wine was a great hit, I favoured the white selection but also enjoyed the reds, delicious with steak and beef.
It was our sons 30th birthday and we celebrated with the bottle of champagne, had the crisps and nuts as snacks. The champagne was light and easy to drink definitely on list for re-order. We finished our dinner with cheese and sampled the Parmesan and Poppy Seed Oat biscuits and the beetroot flat breads, we all loved those. After the birthday festivities we relaxed with a glass of Port, and the peppermint fondants. We are still munching our way through the fudge and Turkish delight and enjoying every piece.
Thank you Harrods for letting us review the Celebration Hamper, I would fully recommend it. All the goodies were delicious, not one did we feel we wouldn’t purchase again. The empty hamper now sits by the hearth in a lovely farmhouse. We can’t wait to visit Harrods again on our next visit to London.
Thank you, Charles and Jacqui
